The Product Designer is instrumental in this mission: discover, understand, appeal to, convert and engage new and existing learners. As an early member of our internal creative team, you will have a significant impact on SoloLearn's products, brand and visual identity. Responsibilities: Make mobile learning refreshingly simple, effective, and human. Turn complex problems into intuitive, helpful experiences. Develop a deep understanding of the user's product use, engagement, and desires and advocate relentlessly for the best mobile and desktop experience on their behalf. Represent the Product Design team with strong systems thinking (IA and best practices in iOS, Android, and web guidelines) and design leadership. Define and iterate on SoloLearn's native mobile app experience, alongside the responsive web experience. Exemplify user-centered design. Participate and facilitate collaboration across teams through design thinking methodologies and iterative product development. Bring SoloLearn's purpose to life, inspiring learners globally. Contribute to the development of the SoloLearn Design System, inthe context of app styles, patterns, and behaviors. Participate in the entire end-to-end design process from early-stage research, to ideation and experimentation, to implementation and continuing iteration. Rapidly prototype ideas that effectively communicate interaction and experience. Create high quality design deliverables including app and site structure, flows, wireframes, comps, prototypes, style guides and other high fidelity visual assets. Use data analytics, user testing, and research to inform and validate design decisions and focus on constant improvement. Incorporate UI/UX best practices in website design and layout, and adapt designs for mobile formats and responsive design. Build entire end to end visual campaigns and implement across all acquisition channels. Requirements: 3+ years of experience designing and shipping digital apps and websites. Experience with consumer education, mobile, and subscription-based software is very strongly preferred. Strong design & systems thinking; a proven, integrated approach to strategy, design, and prototyping. Ownership of every aspect of the design process; self-directed with demonstrated experience in the end-to-end design process. Problem-solver who grounds design decisions in qualitative research and data. Demonstrated strong information architecture, interaction and visual design skills, focus on execution, and a proven ability to apply best-practices in the context of mobile products. Expert at mobile design best-practices; strong working knowledge of the Android and iOS HIG and Material guidelines. Creative leadership; hands-on individual contributor, thought leader and passionate mentor. Teams trust and respect your point of view. Enthusiastic collaboration; building cross-disciplinary relationships in order to achieve exceptional experiences, and find joy in working alongside other designers. Curious and passionate about new technologies, industry trends and relevant artifacts A strong portfolio that demonstrates how solutions have led to or improved real-world digital experiences. Experience designing and building for multiple display types (desktop, tablet, phone, etc.). Ability to understand and follow a design system, challenge and contribute to it when necessary. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, and other emerging design applications. Knowledge of motion design and animation is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Design (i.e., interaction, graphic, architecture, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
