Associate, Procurement - Temporary Featured

This role will support procurement, shipping, receiving and inventory functions. T he Temporary Procurement Associate role will report to the VP of Finance. This temporary, full-time role is based out of our office in Dallas, Texas and will work 30-40 hours per week. This position is expected to end on September 1, with the possibility for extension. What are the details? Order and/or oversee the ordering of materials, supplies and equipment for NMSI’s office needs, staff and program activities Maintain records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments and related matters Establish accurate count thresholds of all inventoried supplies and training materials and maintain reasonable on-hand quantities of these supplies Maintain current lists of supplies that are required for all NMSI events Coordinates and confirms receipt of materials with Program Delivery and Operations team in conjunction with school point of contacts for NMSI program events Place and/or oversee the placement of equipment orders for the schools in the NMSI CRP network Follow NMSI's procedures and policies, including security protocol for confidential customer information Code invoices for purchases, including all purchases made with the company credit card Contribute to ongoing solutions for operational efficiencies for the procurement function Complete other duties that contribute to organizational, team, or individual goals, as assigned by the Procurement Manager, VP Finance or CFO Ensure that all internal and external customers e.g., teachers, consultants and staff) are supported Other duties as assigned What are we looking for ? Education & Experience – You have a high school diploma and some advanced education would be preferred . You have strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and an aptitude for mastering other software solutions.
