Join National Heritage Academies (NHA) as a Summer Staffing Intern. This position reports directly to the Grants Manager and was created to manage the process of supporting our schools in preparing for summer school programs. This opportunity allows for an intern to develop processes, gain efficiencies, and communicate with leaders across the organization. In this role you will work out of our corporate headquarters (Service Center) located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The NHA Service Center is where all the behind-the-scenes magic happens. Our 400 brilliant team members are brag-worthy. With a diverse group of departments like admissions, talent acquisition, facilities, legal services, and many more working together to provide top level back-office support. In This Role You Will Identify and communicate guidelines for summer school programs Create, update and manage individual summer school plans Track updates and progress on summer school plans Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure progress is made towards program preparation Address all school-related questions and concerns Requirements Pursuing a degree in communications, management, human resources or education related fields Previous experience in an office setting preferred High energy: exhibits high energy, initiative and strong desire to learn and achieve Communication: ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers (verbal and written) Resourcefulness: achieves results, utilizes resources appropriately; able to work independently and with minimal direction; maintains high level of organization and time management.
