Under the leadership of the President, Behavioral Programs and Head of Corporate Development, you will leverage your strong, proven relationships and deep knowledge in the K-12 educational community at the city, state, district and national level. You will meet or exceed sales objectives by opening territories and establishing and building long-term customer relationships. Whether it be business development, partnerships, community management, or fundraising, your career journey illustrates a strong track record in relationship building and pipeline management. Our Ideal candidate will have: Minimum Bachelor's Degree required. MBA Preferred.7-10 years' strong, demonstrated business development or consultative sales role experience focusing on K-12 solutions, products or servicesDemonstrated experience partnering with Marketing and Sales Operations to develop and implement plans for generating leads via targeted marketing campaigns, current customer referrals, relevant conferences, etc.Proven track record in developing - and managing to - a sales plan that focuses on attractive targets and meets revenue and profit goalsExperience developing proposals and RFP responses, in collaboration with the Marketing/Proposals teamDemonstrated strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Private School leaders, Public School District leadership, community leaders, and other influential constituentsA collaborative spirit with a team-based focus that will take initiative and foster effective communication throughout the organization and sales processKnowledge and understanding of the K-12 buying cyclesProven track record for leading negotiations and winning deals with in a long buying cycle sales processStrong understanding of state and federal legislation that generates and regulates the public and nonpublic fundingAbility to travel extensively throughout the U.S. to maintain and develop key partnerships and long-term relationships at the district, city county and state levelsResearching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
