POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator of Professional Development assists in the planning and delivery of system-wide staff development activities designed to address system goals. Plans and implements courses and other activities that address the professional development needs of employees; directs all District delivery of services to qualified employees including evaluation of instructional programs, and curriculum development. This position reports to the Director of Professional Learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops staff development courses, workshops, and other training programs for certificated and classified personnel and leadership/executive personnel. Collaborates with the Human Resources Department in planning the training for state evaluation programs. Collaborates with remediation needs in areas identified on the annual evaluation instruments.
