Regional Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator, Midwest Featured
The Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for engaging prospective City Year AmeriCorps members through the management of a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to support the regional recruitment and admissions team’s goal of building a pipeline of 18 - 25 year-olds for the City Year AmeriCorps member opportunity. Job Description An  inspiring and relatable communicator, the Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator will work cross departmentally (Recruitment and Admissions) to;   Implement a customer service engagement strategy for building rapport with young adults learning more about the City Year experience and benefits.   People centered lead management and application  cultivation with effective decision making to adapt to multi-channel communication preference of prospect.   Effective at rapport and relationship building  with prospective City Year AmeriCorps Members to ensure they are well informed about City Year and the AmeriCorps member experience and benefits;   Customer Service Delivery: Implement a comprehensive communication and customer service plan; direct responses to general email and telephone contact for City Year locally as well as regionally; respond to and route inquiries to appropriate team(s).   Virtually recruit and attend recruitment events as needed   Support the Chicago based admissions manager to facilitate the hiring process for 250+ City Year AmeriCorps members.   This will include but is not limited to scheduling interviews, following up with references, reviewing applications and preparing confirmed City Year AmeriCorps members for their service in Chicago.    Implement City Year's business process for Customer Relationship Manager (Salesforce) Qualifications   1 + year of experience in relationship development with institutions such as colleges, high schools, clubs, and community based organizations to meet organizational objectives   Highly energetic, charismatic approach to engaging diverse groups, particularly young adults   Ability to deliver strong and inspirational messages  for internal and external audiences via multiple channels (Email, Text, Phone Calls)   Adept in calendar management, event planning, and logistics management   Passionate about working on a team and positively contributing to team culture   Analytical skills and problem solving skills, finding both short term and long term solutions   Exhibit a passion for City Year’s mission and values   Preferred Qualifications  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.   City Year or National Service Program Alumni   Sales, customer service, or human relations experience.   Volunteer or academic recruitment experience.   Compensation and Benefits Full time employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with experience.
