Role Mission: IDEA's Executive Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing the plan to recruit top-quality talent for Principal, Principal in Residence (PIR), headquarters, and other positions as needed. The Executive Recruiter understands all roles and how they fit together, in order to identify and align talent to the best fit role. The Executive Recruiter is responsible for understanding talent pipeline needs and implementing a robust recruitment approach, including creating/maintaining partnerships with education influencers. They rely on data analysis to drive their work and partner with the Regional Directors of Staffing and functional leaders to ensure that every vacancy at IDEA is filled with a high-quality candidate that meets the needs of the region. Accountabilities 1. Directly recruit a 3:1 ratio of high-quality applications for every Principal, PIR, and targeted vacancy Strategy & Analysis Partner with the Regional Director of Staffing (RDS) to identify the needs of the region, internal pipeline strength, and align on "quality" and non-negotiables for each position Continuously identify and build new sources of high-quality candidates that match the desired profile for each position Event Management Create and maintain a calendar of recruitment events Represent IDEA at external events and host IDEA events to attract talent Leverage Staffing team members as well as other stakeholders to attend events Networking Leverage social media and other mechanisms for communication to headhunt, attract, and engage prospects Strategically engage in individual outreach to ensure that top prospects become applicants Hold at least451:1 meetings each month with strong prospects Create meaningful partnerships with organizations and schools that yield content-specific candidates Head hunt key prospects through Indeed, LinkedIn, TFA and other job boards Systems Leverage Jobvite to track and monitor prospects and ensure thatthey convert to applicants Create and maintain a tracking system to closely monitor progress made with high-quality prospects Ensure a smooth and efficient application process, and closely monitor where candidates are throughout the cycle Track high-quality prospects to ensure quick conversion to application and potential hire 2. Design and execute a recruitment plan to ensure the following hiring timelines are met: 95% school lead team hired by April 30th 100% of PIRs and Principals hired by June 1st 100% of school lead team and regional staff are "IDEA ready" by first day of work calendar or professional development (whichever is first) Support the building of healthy leader pipelines through partnering with RDS and leadership team on succession planning. Collaborate with regional leaders to understand the existing leadership pipeline, talent gaps, and align strategies to address critical capabilities and develop talent strategies in support of executive searches Participate in selection events in partnership with regional leaders Aggressively court partnerships with graduate and training programs Implement strategies to recruit external leaders that reflect the demographics of the students and communities IDEA serves Actively use data to identify the strengths of candidate pools Build external partnerships that lead to high quality referrals of leaders Develop and employ a toolbox of recruiting strategies, both in-person/direct and remote/indirect, to increase awareness of IDEA amongst the target profiles Closely monitor hiring timelines and pipeline metrics to ensure hiring stays on track throughout the year 3. 75% of external candidates who receive an offer accept their offers, including for PIRs Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the application and interview process Act and think resourcefully to create a world-class application and interview process Proactively address concerns and obstacles for candidates who have received an offer 4 .
