Catapult Learning has an immediate need for a Payroll Manager. The candidate filling this role will be responsible for managing payroll process for Catapult Learning and wholly owned subsidiaries. Payroll Manager Responsibilities: Provides direction for analysis, preparation and input of payroll data. Ensures Payroll Advisors are using automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management. Performs various journal entries, account reconciliations, and provides General Ledger support. Supervises payroll and HRIS support staff and coordinates administrative support activities. Candidate Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance or related field preferred 5 plus years of experience in fast paced corporate work environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft office. Able to pick up new software and programs with ease. Catapult Learning currenlty uses UltiPro. Additionally the candidate filling this role must have expereince managing payroll for a multi-company, multistate organziation. Excellent Project Managment and organzaiton skills. Strong customer orientation and attention to detail are a must. Performs various journal entries, account reconciliations, and provides General Ledger support. Problem analysis and problem resolution. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
