JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Network Manager/Engineer with SD-WAN and ACI expertise who will ensure proper management of the network services (including LAN, WAN, MAN, Voice, Video, Wireless, ISP, VPN, EDMZ, and Contact Center Technologies) for the client in conjunction with the vendor(s). In addition, this role supports Network availability and the introduction of new technology into the Network environment. Essential Accountabilities: Develop and ensure proper management and monitoring of all Network services (LAN, WAN, MAN, Voice, Video, Wireless, ISP, VPN, EDMZ, and Call Center Technologies), ensuring availability and reliability of the Network. Interpret industry trends to ascertain appropriate optimization of product catalog, driving cost savings and efficiencies in the support model. Work with business segments to identify current issues and emerging needs. Work with the customer facing organizations to maintain, develop and implement world class solutions that enable multi-channel solutions to help reduce cost and improve CSAT results. Perform routine audits of systems and software for compliance to procedures and in support of maintaining and exceeding the service level agreements. Review and distribute capacity reports of the client's Network to ensure proactive management of the infrastructure. Develop and assist in the documentation of the DR Network infrastructure. Introduce and oversee vendor integration of new technologies into clients environment. Work with vendor as third level support to troubleshoot any reported incidents or chronic problems. Draft and maintain Network documentation and processes. Oversee development of operations support documentation including runbooks etc. to meet Operational handover requirements, ensuring quality and content standards are met. Required Experience: SD WAN and ACI are critical skills Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science, Masters Preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of network (LAN, WAN, MAN Voice, Video, Wireless, ISP, VPN, Mobil, EDMZ and Datacenter Center Technologies) experience. Significant experience in large dynamic routing environments. Expert knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP Experience managing public internet routing, transport and access Extensive knowledge of network service providers for both Public and private line access Has significant experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and communication with vendor engineering for network troubleshooting. Technology refresh experience; large scale global refreshes of all network components. Ability to successfully introduce new technology into client environment. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate new concepts, and drive change in process and behaviors. Technology competencies include LAN/Networking installation and configuration; Voice/Data Convergence Technologies Video Conferencing Tools, Router, Switches, Load Balancers, Wireless AP, TCP/IP, Radius, ISP, Mobil, DMZ, and call center technologies i.e; work force management tools, quality tools, IVR's. etc. Technology competencies include Active Directory, Clustering, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, basic knowledge of Windows / UNIX / Linux / Mac Server, Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, Networking technologies with focus on Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ACE and WAAS family of products, deep knowledge of networking protocols (UDP, TCP, application related protocols). Able to identify and elaborate enterprise-wide impact of major product technology trends. Has a clear perspective on product technology integration and interconnectivity. Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify learning opportunities, improve current processes. Effective communications and presentation delivery skills, especially to senior management on technology strategies and standards; able to create and maintain cross-segment relationships and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and cooperation.
