With an eye for creativity, this individual seeks to inform donors, education thought leaders, education thought leaders and applicants about the positive power of national service through effective nurturing and email marketing campaigns. This individual plays a key role in the integration, adaption, management and optimization and digital marketing automation across the organization. This role will work with in close collaboration with the MarComm, ITS, Recruitment and Admissions, Development Operations and site-based staff the development of effective marketing campaigns through marketing automation. This role works to ensure audience needs and business needs are aligned and executed upon. This individual must be an eager learner and proficient marketer, combining the technical skills of Salesforce and Marketo (or comparable platform) along with strong written communication skills to create, curate and manage digital content. This person is passionate about data and strives to thoughtfully utilize marketing insights and trends to strengthen the effectiveness of their work. Job Description Responsibilities Manage our marketing automation system (Marketo) and troubleshoot issues: Manage standard operating procedures for the creation of marketing programs within Marketo, acting as the primary “power user” to cross-train and support national and local users on the best-practices. Respond to service tickets across the network, troubleshoot and resolve marketing automation issues within 10 business days. Build out of email campaigns and assets as needed in Marketo. Oversee marketing qualified lead distribution system and follow-up process, including lead assignment logic, lead source definition and reporting. Work collaboratively with our team, the national staff and site staff across the country Collaborate with key internal partners to develop marketing automation campaigns, email marketing materials and resources for all our target audiences. Collaborate with ITS to develop processes that continually improve database quality through data enrichment and data quality scoring. Identify pilot programs and project manage new initiatives aimed at building nurture campaigns for our donor and education thought leadership audiences. Analyze campaign performance and share best practices Leverage insights from the organization and industry benchmarks to optimize campaign performance and content. Organize A/B tests and analyze email and nurture campaign performance. Share reports, insights and best practices across the network and work to optimize our performance. Other Responsibilities Serve as generalist support for website administration, social media, marketing advertising and other special digital implementation projects as needed.
