The Haitian Family Liaison will work to increase and enhance parent/guardian engagement through establishment of effective communication between home and school. Primary responsibilities: Provide outreach to families through individual phone calls, auto-calls, written correspondence and attendance at school meetings, activities and events. Provide families with information to enhance understanding of and access to PHA policies, procedures and systems (attendance, dress code, meal service, Power School, health services, etc.). Provide interpretation services to families, teachers and school leaders during a variety of school based meetings, activities and events (IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, workshops, etc.).
