Overview: The Marketing Manager will join a team of 60 purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial office environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success is the largest collegiate leadership honor society in the United States, with over 700 chapters and more than one million members, who collectively have completed over 282,000 hours of community service. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop revenue producing strategies and execute campaigns across all marketing channels supporting business objectives, member acquisition, sales support, and advance brand building initiatives. Responsibilities: Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan Consistently identify revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts Collaborate with internal departments to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing initiatives Analyze audience behavior and adjust campaigns accordingly Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including a positive impact on membership acquisition, chapter lead flow, life-time value and retention rates Maintain and evaluate our digital marketing ecosystem with respect to operational efficiencies, increased conversion rates, and emerging technologies Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes across business units Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics Oversee and approve the development of all marketing assets including: audience personas, messaging, case studies, content creation/curation, art direction/graphic design, email marketing, event management, landing pages, lead generation campaigns, search engine marketing (PPC/SEO), surveys, social media, program performance analysis, and website(s) development/management. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds effectively Provide recommendations to senior leadership on team structure, hiring and training for the marketing department Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business-related field Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing Thorough knowledge of Google Analytics, HubSpot Marketing, Hubspot CRM, Sakari SMS, Shopify, SurveyMonkey, Zapier, Zendesk and associated best practices Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a marketing department Proven experience of identifying target audiences and in developing cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, motivate and close new opportunities Demonstrable experience in marketing along with the potential and attitude required to learn Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets Provide creative input and feedback to achieve effective results Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results Experience in digital and direct response marketing Competence as a copywriter with an eye for great emails and landing pages Strong project management skills Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking Benefits You Receive While Working at The NSLS Include: Medical, Vision and Dental Benefits 401K with employer contribution Working daily with a team of positive people Opportunities for advancement as we expand into new markets Flexibility to work 1 day/week from home, after 12 months of reaching goals Feel good knowing you are using your talents to better the world 1.5hr lunch to work out at a local gym and membership subsidized Bonuses based on achievement of company-wide metrics (after 12 months of employment) A company that believes and invests in your personal and professional growth Paid time off days (PTO), holidays, PLUS the week between Christmas and New Year's Day The National Society of Leadership and Success is an equal opportunity employer.
