Job Title: Enrolling Manager Location: Phoenix, AZ POSITION OVERVIEW: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the hiring, training, and results of the enrollment team responsible for the partner institutions graduate, undergraduate and certificate programs. This position is responsible for overseeing the class projection process, class building process, and campus enrollment budget. This position will also be responsible for informing prospective undergraduate and graduate students regarding program, admissions, and degree completion requirements, as well as enrolling students for the partner institution's graduate, undergraduate, and certificate programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements made below are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by individuals assigned to this job. Effectively hire, train, conduct performance evaluations, direct the workflow and manage sales professionals with special consideration to the needs and mission of the partner institution. 2. Develop, implement, and monitor staff performance goals to ensure maximum performance. 3. Monitor and analyze performance data for use in daily coaching of team members. 4. Apply coaching techniques to enhance the performance of individual team members. 5. Monitor and manage the class projection and class building process with the enrollment team. 6. Work with appropriate members of the partner institution's student/academic services team to develop and implement effective processes and policies. 7. Work with appropriate members of the partner institution's student/academic services team to resolve student issues. 8. Provide prospective students with the highest level of customer service through effective phone, email, and face-to-face communication. 9. Work with previously enrolled students for matriculation to the next level program. This includes providing information on admissions, degree options, and requirements as provided by the partner institution, and providing information on partner institution policy, practices and rules, requiring the use of judgment and discretion. 10. Assists students in making informed decisions by providing ethical, timely, accurate, and comprehensive enrollment options and program information. Act as a personal coach to help students select a degree, complete the enrollment process, and make a smooth transition into the classroom. 11. Monitor and manage the achievement of campus enrollment budget. 12. Develop and implement team building and motivational activities. 13. Generate new business through networking and community outreach. 14. Work directly with prospective students to assist them through the enrollment process and resolve escalated concerns. 15. Consistently participate in scheduled enrollment and compliance training. 16. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent. COMPETENCY: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: · Must possess a high knowledge of higher education market and industry. · Proven track record of success in sales management and/or recruitment training. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to motivate adults to take action. · A high level of written and oral communication skills. Results oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks. · Passionate belief in the power of education along with the desire to help adults achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. · Customer service or advising experience in an educational environment entailing one on one interaction is highly preferred. · Must have reliable transportation for ongoing travel within a local territory to organizations, meetings and events. QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: · Must possess a general knowledge of higher education market and industry. · A bachelor's degree is required. · Two years sales management experience including implementing training programs and/or team building and motivational activities. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES No certifications and/or licenses needed. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervising a team of enrollment employees, may include enrollment representatives, corporate education liaisons, and enrollment support staff. TRAVEL Limited travel within a small territory to manage teams in multiple locations may be required.
