The qualified candidate will take ownership of projects and client communications and be responsible for all elements of program success, thinking strategically about growing the relationship, participating in client meetings, flawlessly executing deliverables, upselling and renewing when appropriate, and actively merchandising the account in support of Partner Success Managers and/or Directors. Client Relations Supports day-to-day program development and leads client communication Develops or assists Partner Success Manager(s)/Director(s) in preparing and delivering client presentations and recommendations Ensures client needs and deliverables are met. Represents the client perspective and voice in video shoots, creative development, marketing and other deliverables as needed. Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with clients Provides feedback to team and to individuals on client-related issues as appropriate Collaboratively finds solutions to day-to-day issues/problems Demonstrates partnership impact and value to partners and key stakeholders Strategic Thinking Works with client and partner success leader(s) to determine program parameters and overall requirements. Focuses on program activation and day-to-day partnership management. Demonstrates a core understanding of marketing strategies, tactics, channels and tools Assists with program metrics and research findings. Uses data and competitive analysis to inform and drive decision-making. Participates in merchandising the program for the client and for DE Financial Management Helps to manage key aspects of budgets Project Management Demonstrates extreme attention to detail to ensure flawless deliverables to clients Provides appropriate direction to team members, other DE departments and external vendors (marketing, creative, website development and others) Works with team to raise issues/points of view and develop unified direction to client Works to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables and secures appropriate client and internal approvals Ensures that sound business principles are applied and followed Issues client status reports, facilitates program status calls and oversees all necessary program documentation Researches and updates team on current industry news related to client projects Who You Are: Professional Experience : Minimum 2-5 years in client relations, customer success, agency, communications or marketing roles Mission-Driven: Passionate about Discovery Education's vision to transform teaching and learning and corporate social responsibility. Experience or interest in education or ed-tech industry a plus. Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related fields Knowledge & Skills: Knowledgeable about account management and client relations. Demonstrated skills in program management and relationship building Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people at all-levels and in various industries. Self-Motivation and Self-Starter: Entrepreneurial with the ability to do what needs to be done without being micromanaged. Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, proactively manage numerous projects, and prioritize competing timelines.
