Role Mission: The School Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students at various times of the days including before/after school and during lunch/recess. Accountabilities: Supervision of Students Provide a safe and orderly environment for students Monitors students during bus drop off, arrival, and after school. Monitors halls during student arrival and during lunch. Maintain assigned lunch schedule for all grade levels without delay Supervise and assist students through serving line to ensure assigned lunch periods remain on schedule Supervise lunchroom to maintain orderly conduct Supervise students during recess and rotate through the lunchroom at scheduled time Assists with general food needs such as assisting students with opening food containers, discarding food during meals, and general cleanliness of cafeteria. Role Mission: IDEA Relay Residents serve as full-time teaching residents in IDEA classroom s under the mentorship of top-performing teacher s to gain experience in the classroom through a gradual onramp of responsibility. This process includes, but is not limited to, fostering local interest, managing first year of school enrollment, and monitoring student and family persistence. Accountabilities: Ensure 100% Enrollment on the First Day of School (FDOS) Execute student recruitment strategies that target families with school-aged children within a 5-mile radius of the assigned campus Attend community events and informational fairs to inform families and promote brand awareness of IDEA Public Schools. Execute off-site presentations to daycares, housing authorities, community centers and other community organizations Participate in neighborhood walks and door-to-door presentations in neighborhoods near IDEA schools. Assist parents in completing a paper or online application. Host bi-weekly campus open houses Monitor quality of applications submitted and resolves issues in a timely manner Maintain and cultivate a solid wait list after lottery by providing communication and sustained recruitment efforts Any and all other duties as assigned by Student Enrollment Managers 100% of Enrollment Milestones Completed On-Time and To Goal (Re-Registration, Lottery, Registration, Welcome to IDEA, etc.) If applicable, manage the re-registration process by distributing communications and following up with families until 100% of families have responded. Role Mission: IDEA Academic Counselors (ACs) support three main work streams: Testing, Family Engagement and Social Emotional Support . IDEA Academic Counselors are shared by the Academy ( P K-2) and College Prep (6 th grade) in Year 1 of a school opening. After the first year of a school 's operation, the Academic Counselor moves to one of the schools (Academy or College Prep), and a second Academic Counselor is hired for the other school (Academy or College Prep).
