Breakthrough Schools is seeking a results-driven, Manager of Student Recruitment and Outreach to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, Community Engagement and Enrollment, the Manager, Student Recruitment and Outreach will play a critical role within the team to ensure full enrollment at all schools within the Breakthrough Schools network. The Manager, Student Recruitment and Outreach will generate leads that result in new applications and ultimately new student enrollments, execute strategies and tactics to meet recruitment goals, provide high-quality customer service to prospective families and partners, supervise the Student Recruitment and Outreach team, and provide support within the entire Student Recruitment and Enrollment Team. Essential Job Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead Generation/Strategy Development and Execution: • Collaborates with Managing Director, Community Engagement and Enrollment to identify and strategize recruitment efforts to meet departmental goals • Executes the Sales & Marketing plan to generate leads that result in the achievement of the enrollment goal • Develops creative ways to generate new student leads for the recruitment team • Works to achieve recruitment goals, engages school staff to close leads, and provides accurate and regular communication • Coordinates and participates in special recruiting activities, including parent information sessions, open houses, and community events • Implement a system to monitor and evaluate the value of recruitment events and activities • Follows up with families throughout the application process, and is specifically responsible for the conversion of leads into viable new applications Recruitment Process Management: • Leads and supervises the Student Recruitment and Outreach team to achieve goals and execute the recruitment process • Ensures that a high level of customer service is consistently provided to prospective families, staff, internal/external partners and stakeholders • Fully understands, utilizes, and ensures reports are able to navigate the student enrollment portal and customer relationship management tool to guide prospective families through the application process • Reviews, secures, and ensures the quality of all data collected and utilized in the recruitment process Community Outreach & Partnership: • Supports the Managing Director, Community Engagement and Enrollment in leading the outreach and partner relationship management efforts to ensure an ongoing pipeline of new leads • Conducts outreach within the communities we serve, including events, canvassing, and at community meetings and neighborhood events • Develops and maintains relationships with businesses, civic leaders, community partners and with organizations serving school-aged children to generate new student leads • Builds awareness of our schools to prospective families and drives new student recruitment Skills and Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty accurately. Experience with SchoolMint is preferred • Must be comfortable working in neighborhoods across the city of Cleveland Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required • 3-5 years of student recruitment, sales, customer development, new business acquisition, or customer service experience • Experience gathering and analyzing data to adjust strategies and drive outcomes • Fluency in Spanish is preferred Location: The position is primarily located in Cleveland, Ohio. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation as frequent site visits and meetings across Cleveland are required. Frequent evening and weekend hours are required, especially in June through August.
