Job Summary : Provide security for school district facilities and detects mechanical failures. Operate central monitoring system and respond to calls from police and citizens or alarm drops at district facilities. Coordinating response actions with other agencies. Hiring requirements: High School diploma, HiSET, or GED Three (3) years experience in public safety, emergency operations or security. Three (3) years experience with leadership or supervisory experience. CPR certification and AED training completed within the first 90-days of employment. Successful completion of the basic 40-hour Telecommunicator Training (dispatching) required by the State of Iowa completed with the next class offered. Valid driver's license and motor vehicle record aligned with District guidelines at all times.
