Responsible for providing services in communication skills to eligible students with communication disorders. Support the mission of school district by serving as a positive role model for students. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Provide speech/language therapy that reflects the individual education plan (IEP) for students. 2. Maintain written records of the performance of students over time to document progress toward mastery of IEP goals and objectives. 3. Use technology, including augmentative devices, to strengthen the teaching/learning process. 4. Report to the supervising SLP about the progress of students toward mastery of their IEPs. 5. Create opportunities for students to practice targeted speech/language skills in the therapy sessions and in other environments, such as the campus and home. 6.
