Kumon North America seeks a Videographer who is strongly creative, with a terrific eye for catching and telling stories. The individual must be able to plan, film and edit video content. This position is not a contract or freelance opportunity. We are seeking a full-time associate to work in our corporate headquarters office. Pre-Production: Storyboard creation and timeline management Maintain all video and audio equipment in good working order, replacing pieces as necessary Ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available, present and working Setup and breakdown recording equipment before and after use Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules Production: Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions Advanced lighting production experience Film videos on set or on location Operates video, camera and related equipment in the production Capture action/desired message using camera, lighting and audio equipment Direct people to capture specific action/shots and events for the camera Preparing background film or "B" roll Troubleshooting problems with equipment Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Post-Production: Understanding of post-production techniques Edit captured video to tell concise, visually pleasing, and emotional stories Must know computerized editing software including Final Cut and Adobe Premiere Pro Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically After Effects and Photoshop, is required Sound production and advanced audio editing Inserting close captioning, graphics, special effects, animations, or other on-screen text into video Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, or a closely related field Advanced Photography skills required Minimum 5 years of overall experience Ability to travel up to 15%, both domestic and international, and work overtime as needed to attend events and conferences (including weekends) Excellent organizational/project management skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute serval project simultaneously conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines Excellent computer literacy Excellent interpersonal skills Proficiency with camera equipment Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment Knowledge of professional audio and/or video editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards Moderate physical activity.
