Job Description TITLE: CAFETERIA MONITOR PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ensures the health, safety, and welfare of students in elementary school cafeterias QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with elementary school age children, school staff, and parents. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of School Nutrition ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervises students in the cafeteria during lunch periods in serving lines, while eating, and during dismissal.
