Job Description Job Title: Crisis Management Assistant Purpose Statement: The job of the Crisis Management Assistant (CMA) is done for the purpose/s of supporting students in crisis at each school assigned, providing redirection, de-escalation, self-regulation, and other crisis prevention intervention techniques to reduce student outrage and return students to class. The CMA is considered a Tier 2 intervention, with the goal of assisting students in crisis and returning them to their general education classroom. The CMA will implement Restorative Practices activities along with crisis prevention interventions to assist school staff, decreasing out-of-school suspension and learning loss.
