Job Description Kittery Adult and Community Education is seeking an ESOL instructor. The hours are variable based on enrollment 5-10 hours a week providing individual and small class instruction for our Multilingual Learners. Responsibilities: Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for small group instruction in English for skill development, TOEFL test preparation, college /career preparation, and citizenship courses Employ evidence-based instructional practices and academic standards to plan, develop and/or select lesson plans, activities, and curricula Assess individual needs using initial assessments and classroom observations Participate in staff meetings, state and local professional development Collaborate with Student Advisor, Navigator, Directors and Teachers to support to Individual Learning Plans Manage in person and remote classrooms with varying abilities.
