Job Description Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday 7 .5 hours per day (1/2 hour unpaid lunch) Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred. Minimum Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma 2. Minimum of an educational aide certificate required. 3. Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool. 4. Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved. 5. Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people. 6. Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students 7. Job Description The School Psychologist provides direct support and interventions to students, families, and other school professionals. This position provides psycho-educational assessments, program planning, and consultations that promote mental health and facilitate student learning.
