Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are required of the position, plus any other duties that may be required by the employer. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the Director of Nursing. Determine students' health status upon arrival at the clinic and provide appropriate care and referral if necessary Administer medications and perform selected health procedures per established guidelines Assist students with health, hygiene, activities of daily living and other personal needs Make referrals to school social worker, guidance counselor, administrator, school staff, and community agencies as appropriate Notify site administrator or designee at once if an emergency situation exists, including notification if a call is made to 911.
