Job Description Assistant Chefs are employees of the Aloha Foundation assigned to work for our residential summer camps through our Dining Services Department. These positions include a competitive salary, shared room and board, and the ability to spend the summer in a lakeside setting in Vermont. The Assistant Chef is responsible for the kitchen including and not limited to assisting the Head Chef with food orders, planning menus, overseeing staff, volunteers, and food preparation. Job Requirements Ability to manage a small staff Servsafe certificate Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment Ability to manage the preparation of meals for up to 250 campers Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds Capacity to work in a hot kitchen for an 8-hour shift Punctuality and proper hygiene a must
