General Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Special Education Teacher, the Special Education Paraeducator is responsible for supporting and assisting students with disabilities in various school settings. The Special Education Paraeducator, consistent with the individual education plan (IEP) or individual family service plan (IFSP) assists the Special Education Teacher with lesson plan preparation; one-on-one and small group instruction; classroom management; student observation and assessment; and communication with parents and staff. General Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Specialized Transportation Director, the Specialized Transportation Van Driver will transport students with disabilities on "to and from school" routes. Students are transported in vans or vehicles that are rated to transport 10 or fewer passengers. Salary: The full hourly range will be $24.64 - $28.36. Offers are made at the entry level of the range. Assignment: This position will be part-time, working 20-25 hours per week. The position is on a school year schedule, there will be no work during school breaks (winter, spring, summer). We are primarily recruiting for work in Klickitat county.
