Job Description Float position (assigned as needed) 20 hours per week (hours vary between 6:00am - 2:00pm ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Preparation of food, food portions and serving food to students, staff and visitors. Operate cash register. Notify the Food Service Director of supplies to be ordered. Clean up and maintain the kitchen and garbage collection area. Clean and maintain all food service equipment. Notify the Food Service Director of fixtures or equipment in need of repair or replacement. Receive and store supplies and maintain all storage areas. Submit reports within required timeframes to the Food Service Director; including, but not limited to, daily production reports. Follow applicable State and Federal regulations for the USDA Child Nutrition Program. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or GED.
