The Tapestry Program of Rutland City Public Schools is looking for new SAFE Coordinator as we reopen our Northeast Primary Site. This is a wonderful opportunity for people interested in maximizing student engagement and outcomes by orientating children and families to the program, working with the site level team to maintain a high-quality program where children are safe, engaged in learning and exploration. The SAFE Coordinator promotes supportive learning environments by, coaching staff on skills to enhance positive climate and interactions, and removes financial barriers by assisting families with the financial aid and/or child care subsidy application processes. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred, in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or Education with a number of years of experience working with children and families as well as possess strong, collaborative leadership skills. The Rutland City Public School's Tapestry & EPIC Program is currently seeking kind, dynamic and passionate professionals, to join our team, to deliver high quality enrichments, that will challenge our students in their growth and development at NOrtheast Primary School. Successful Group Leaders are people who possess the skills and knowledge to implement developmentally appropriate activities that will actively engage children in a safe and healthy environment. Group leaders do this by building relationships, listening to student voices and engaging them to meet their needs. Anyone who holds an Associate's Degree or 60 college level credits are invited to apply. These are part time jobs with hours roughly from 2:30PM - 5:30, Monday through Friday. Tapestry is not open on weekends, holidays or when school is not scheduled for that day. College students are encouraged to apply.
