Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist the school principal in the overall administration of instructional programs and campus-level operations. Coordinate assigned student activities and services. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Master's Degree Arkansas Mid-Management Certification or the new Standard Principal Certificate or other appropriate Arkansas certificate The Arkansas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TESS) Valid Arkansas teaching certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Thorough understanding of school administrative operations Demonstration of leadership skills in the present assignment Demonstrates effective use of current technology skills Ability to coordinate campus support operations Experience: Three years' experience as a classroom teacher
