General Description: K-5 world language teachers are members of the school community and participate in faculty and department meetings, communicate with families about learning in world language, complete progress reports annually, and have school based duties in addition to creating, preparing and delivering instruction. Duties include but are not limited to: World language classes take place in the grade level classrooms; world language teachers have a sturdy cart to transport instructional materials. World language classes require multi-modal instruction via a variety of teacher made materials and realia. World language teachers complete annual progress reports for students.
