Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must hold a current MA RN license and BLS certification. Candidate must be able to work autonomously in a fast paced work environment and be able to prioritize/triage. Candidate must understand the stages and processes of child development. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Intervene to promote, maintain or restore health and prevent illness. 2. Provide first aid and emergency support and treatment to injured students and refer to PCP or emergency services when indicated. 3. Assess student illness, apply the appropriate nursing intervention and refer to PCP or Emergency services if indicated. 4. Provide staff with initial first aid due to injury on school grounds and refer to PCP or emergency services. 5. Respond to emergencies in the building, triage and activate EMS. 6.
