Administers, interprets and provides a written report of all assessments completed on students who are currently identified or have been referred to special education or Section 504. 1. Attends all team meetings on students assessed and assists in the development of IEP's, behavior management plans and specific goals and objectives. 2. Consults with teachers and recommends effective teaching strategies, materials and methodologies based on students' identified goals. 3. Consults with other specialists in order to effectively program for students' needs. 4. Provides counseling services for identified students. If needed, must be willing to work an adjusted day in order to counsel or meet with parents after school and early evenings. 5. Provide in-service training for staff regarding behavior management, assessment, and other areas of staff interest. 6.
