Job Description Serve as the Executive Chef for the Central Kitchen, identifying menu offerings and recipes appropriate for Central Kitchen Production and distribution. Manage the production of Central Kitchen menu and production records. Visit othher school kitchens as required by program director. Works in cafeteria setting with kitchen, serving lines and storage areas. Extended periods of standing; frequent bending; and lifting up to 50 pounds required. ServSafe Certification required or within three months of hire. Supervisory experience in institutional food production and service required including knowledge of HACCP and workplace safety requirements. Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.) and familiarity with web-based programs (Google Docs, etc.), including an understanding of point of sale software. Salary in accordance with the Food Service Salary Schedule contained within the collective bargaining agreement.
