Job Description Summary of Position: The Maintenance Technician performs general repairs for physical plant and building operations for all Academy properties. Performs maintenance and mechanical Inspection on equipment utilizing results-oriented strategies to ensure continuing operation. Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements. In addition, it is a benefit if the individual has a working knowledge of small equipment (e.g., mowers, weed wackers, gators), with the ability to troubleshoot and repair on-site. The individual in this position must work collaboratively with the Facilities Services team and have a customer service orientation to working with students, faculty, and staff.
