ISA Technical Education & Certification Director Responsibilities Includes: Developing and executing the ISA technical education and workforce development business strategies. Providing strategic advice and guidance to the ISA executive director and the technical education team. Preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate international & domestic growth Job brief We are looking for an experienced Director to control and oversee the technical education and workforce development business operations, people and partnerships. You will report to the ISA executive director and will be responsible for the overall success of the defined business perimeter. The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the technical education product portfolio and sales team to a profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals. Very strong collaborative skills will be essential to work within the ISA volunteer organization as well as the various partnerships. The goal is to ensure the technical education team is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines. Responsibilities · Develop and execute the technical education and workforce development business strategies in order to attain the goals of the society. · Provide strategic advice to the ISA executive director for technical education and workforce development growth opportunities and rational to support the mission of the society. · Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities · Formulate and recommend business models, pricing strategies and partnerships with an eye on portfolio optimization and scalability. · Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times · Communicate and maintain trust relationships with stakeholders, partners and authorities as appropriate. · Oversee the technical education portfolio financial performance, investments for development and other related, contractual business partnerships. · Delegate responsibilities, manage and coach the work of the technical education & certification portfolio team, business development and sales teams providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance · Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile as appropriate. · Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure support of the company mission and financial health. Requirements · Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position · Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans · Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the society · Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance · Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices · Excellent organizational and leadership skills · Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills · Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities · BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; Technical Degree or related experience in the automation field a plus.
