Job Description NATURE OF WORK A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides personal care to the student in the classroom, such as repositioning of the student, removing materials from a backpack, assisting the student with communication, and attending to the students' personal needs. The PCA will help in implementing the Individual Education Program (IEP) in general/separate classroom settings that are compatible with the student's age and developmental needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow all rules, policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to school issues.
