Job Description Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Assistant Principal provides leadership and supervision in implementing the educational mission of the school. The Assistant Principal supports academic achievement, staff development, and school improvement in alignment with Board of Education policies, administrative procedures, and applicable laws. This role also involves supervising instruction, fostering a safe and supportive school climate, and serving as acting Principal in the Principal's absence.
