Job Description Walpole Public Schools is seeking a Emergent Multilingual Learners (EML) Teacher split between Boyden and Old Post Road Elementary Schools, effective immediately, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Job Description and Responsibilities : Initial assessment of students PreK-12 who use a language other than English, according to the DESE Language Survey, to determine eligibility in the ELE program. Inform parents/guardians in English and their home language of all placement, redesignation and exit decisions. Maintain accurate ELE checklists documenting all instruction, progress, and assessment scores. Ensure that ELE student records are updated and maintained at each school. Assess ML students in the ELE program at the beginning of each academic year and periodically throughout the school year to measure progress.
