Our students’ outcomes are the most important measures of our success and we’re looking for a new leader for our Career Success team to lead our team of world-class career success professionals, scale our outcomes and serve both our students and employer partners. ABOUT THE ROLE As the Director of Career Success at Fullstack Academy, you will lead the efforts to grow the impact we have for our students and alums. You’ll lead a team of Career Success processionals as they serve students across our campuses and programs. You’ll build systems and processes to ensure that we deliver exceptional outcomes for ever-growing numbers of students and alums. You’ll work to build partnerships with premium tech employers to drive value for Fullstack, our students, and those employers. You’ll develop programming and events for students, alums and employers. You’ll drive the creation of content on various job-search topics to make sure our students are prepared and feel comfortable and confident to face the tech recruiting process. This role is based in our New York City campus and reports directly to our CEO. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will: Guide the creation of content, resources and programming for immersive software education students to ensure they are ready for their new careers as software engineers Design and build partnerships with key tech employers of choice in the New York City market, providing value for employer partners, students and alums, and the company Create and launch new career services products and content targeted to provide value to our alums on their second job search and beyond Lead a team of career success professionals in both business development and career coaching roles Develop, design and implement systems to meticulously track placement status and outcomes of every graduate and meet key metrics related to students’ professional outcomes Stay on top of hiring trends and continuously develop our Career Success curriculum to ensure that students are equipped to land their dream jobs QUALIFICATIONS You’re a great candidate if you have: 5+ years experience in agency or programmatic recruiting, or leading a career services function at a major university system with a proven commitment to driving outcomes for students 2+ years of experience in Business Development or Partnership Development A deep understanding of the goals, processes, and nuances of Tech Recruiting The ability to conceptualize and design systems and processes that can meet our placement goals at scale, such as communication automation, etc. A data-driven approach to identifying, targeting and driving action on challenges Experience leading a team A passion for mentoring others to succeed Infectious positive energy paired with remarkable empathy A passion for creating positive outcomes in people’s lives through education You’re an exceptional candidate if you also have: Worked at young, fast-growing organizations Been involved in hiring graduates from top immersive education programs (coding bootcamps, data science bootcamps, etc.)
