ASSISTments is a great place to work because we care about teaching, engineering, learning science, computer science, mathematics, research, and edtech all in one organization. Our work is two-fold: making our edtech platform freely available for teachers and students, and conducting research to improve educational experiences for all students. We’re really proud of what we do - if our mission resonates with you, consider applying to join our team.
ASSISTments staff are talented, driven, and committed to the intersections between education, engineering, programming, and research. We are unique in that our team is comprised of both university and non-profit types. Most of the people on the ASSISTments team work in labs and offices at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Those who don’t, work remotely. We’re flexible.
We are an equal opportunity employer. The ASSISTments Foundation seeks not just to accept difference - but to celebrate, support and thrive on it for the benefit of our staff, our product and our community. Employment is based solely on someone’s merit and qualifications directly related to their professional competence. We do not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding), or any other basis protected by law. The law aside, we also do this because we believe it’s the right way to treat people.
