Job Description The Coordinator of Special Education supervises and coordinates the activities of the faculty and staff assigned to the special education department and is responsible for the implementation of the instructional program at the building and district level in accordance with School Committee policies, State and Federal regulations Oversee and manage the site-based programming and process for special education. Facilitate and manage the pre-referral, referral, initial evaluations and placement process for special education students.
