Job Description Position Title: Coordinator of Elementary Special Education Department: Department of Special Programs Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Special Programs FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY: The Coordinator of Elementary Special Education oversees district Elementary Section 504 processes and coordinates the eligibility for and the provision of sound educational support for students who require 504 plans. This position also supports IDEA and leads curriculum teams, maintains the district's curriculum inventory, and manages instructional resources within the district online platforms. Additional duties will include coordinating the provision of Extended School Year services for students with disabilities deemed eligible, as well as, intersession and Summer Reading Camp.
