Job Description Summary: The In School Intervention Coordinator (ISIC) is under the direction of the principal or administrator designee to promote the safety, well-being, behavioral and educational success of students by teaching and implementing behavior management/intervention strategies and social emotional learning programs as students continue in their academic participation in the In School Suspension setting. Job Description General Definition of Work The Coordinating Teacher, Multilingual Learner Curriculum, under moderate supervision, performs complex work with limited decision-making discretion providing supplemental curriculum support to teachers and administrators with multilingual learner (ML) students. This position develops, monitors, analyzes, and evaluates ML curriculum materials and resources as well as monitoring the development of school-based Language Instruction Educational Programs (LIEPs) and individual ML plans. The Coordinating Teacher, ML Curriculum provides specific support to schools in completing School LIEPs and utilizing data to drive instructional improvements.
