Job Description Summary: Within the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools' Office of School Options and Innovation, the Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides project-based, career-focused learning to accelerate students along the path to success in college and careers. Learning is both classroom and work based with all high school programs of study articulating to industry credentials, 2 year degrees and/or 4 year degrees. CTE also supports the work of our middle and early colleges where students simultaneously pursue a high school diploma and an Associate's Degree and/or up to two years of transferrable college credit. CTE is present in every CMS middle and high school and serves over 48,000 students.
