Job Description General Definition of Work The Executive Director of Pre-Kindergarten Programs & Services, under minimal supervision, performs senior-level work with extentsive decision-making discretion administering the district Bright Beginnings Pre-K program and the North Carolina Pre-K programs in CMS classrooms and child development centers. Employee oversees work to ensure research-based curriculum is used in Pre-K programs, leveraging state and federal monitoring tools, and audits to confirm program compliance. Employee performs district-level work to carry out Board of Education policies under the direction of the Associate Superintendent, Learning and Teaching.
