Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Kitchen management experience preferred. Ability to work well with the public and other school personnel. Knowledge of recordkeeping for the purposes of inventory and financial control. Human relations skills sufficient to direct other food service employees. Previous leadership experience in assigning work, training and instruction of employees Manage and schedule work assignments for 3 or more full-time food service staff Ability to work in fast paced environment with deadlines 2-5 years experience in the preparation of school lunches or related retail/food service, food orders, inventory Demonstrate leadership and team building Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
