Job Description Position: Academic Coordinator, PK-3 Language Arts Reports To: Chief Academic Officer Salary Schedule / Grade: Refer to Administrator Salary Schedule F.L.S.A Status: Exempt SUMMARY The Academic Coordinator is to work with teachers to improve instructional practice and student academic achievement. Academic Coordinators will be assigned to provide services to buildings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and facilitate professional learning communities in areas of literacy. Monitor and support the implementation of the district prescribed curriculum and instructional practices. (Including core curriculum, supplemental resources, and intervention programming.)
