Job Description Pitt County Schools SCHOOL LIBRARY MEDIA COORDINATOR (076) JOB DESCRIPTION CERTIFICATION: Must hold a valid Professional Educator License as a Media Coordinator at the Master Level or be eligible for a provisional Media Coordinator License. To be eligible for a provisional Media Coordinator license one of the following is required: must hold at a minimum a bachelor level teaching license OR have a bachelor degree in media OR the completion of 18 graduate semester hours applicable towards a school media coordinator program A provisional license holder must affiliate with a college or university with an approved School Media Coordinator program at the Master level. In addition to courses, the State Board of Education requires the Praxis II test for Media Coordinator to be passed by the end of the coursework through Educational Testing Service (ETS) .
