Job Description POSITION TITLE: Assistant Director of Transportation Department: Transportation Reports To: Transportation Supervisor SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Director of Transportation in the organization, administration, and supervision of the school district transportation system in accordance with state law and policies along with school district policies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Þ Sets up and monitors the Special Education and Kindergarten routes. Þ Arrives at the bus shack prior to the arrival of the first bus. Þ Ensures that the student gates that allow Pinecrest students to pass through the bus parking lot are unlocked in the morning and afternoon and secured after the children pass through them.
