Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: Performs developmental screenings to children. Initiates referrals for children and their parents to community agencies and professionals as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs developmental screenings to children ages 2.5-5.11 years. Trains new personnel regarding Child Find procedures, protocols, and materials. Assists in the coordination of the Child Find referral and screening process. Assist families in accurately completing necessary paperwork required by agencies. Effectively works with community agencies to provide services/programs to meet needs of children inside/outside of the school environment. Coordinates with school personnel in identifying and meeting social, emotional, and physical needs of children.
